‘‘My present series, Improbable Creatures (Fish, Feathers, and Fur), is meticulously designed and
painted with a mechanical steampunk aesthetic in mind. To achieve a unique industrial appearance, I combine drawings of nuts, bolts, rivets, and gears into an inventively-designed image. When I can, I like to introduce fantasy and whimsical proponents into the image. I then use acrylic paint to create textures, with stamping, dry brushing, splattering or by using any other technique which will give me the desired effect I am looking for.”
