Originally from Northern Ontario, Marc Charbonneau moved to the Nations Capital for a 20 year stay.  While there he attended the Ottawa School of art which permitted him to pursue an earlier interest in traditional Printmaking through its various forms and techniques. 

 

Through that exposure, the artist fell aggressively into the history and creation of Stencil cut-outs based on his attraction to the bold graphic illustrative techniques found in there uses.

He is currently trekking through the kaleidoscope of abstract, found and brut art to find inspiration from to create new works.
